It's March Already?

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update from me. I've been incredibly busy with school work these past few days, as spring break is coming up fast. I have to finish five 2000 word essays in the next two weeks. I've got one finished, but four more still to go. So I apolgize if my posts become shorter and less frequent in the next couple weeks. I promise to be back with extra good updates during my 5 week spring break, with pictures and updates of what I'm doing.

We won our first league football match of the season this past Saturday, beating University College C 2-1. It was a big win for us, and something we are looking to build on as we attempt to avoid a bottom of the league finish, which would result in relegation to a lower league. I got a significant amount of playing time in the match, and made a big impact. That was pretty exciting after mostly sitting on the bench the last few games. I hope to keep it up next week, as we play our inter-college rivals, the Van Mildert D's. As we are the Van Mildert C's, it was very embarrassing when they beat us 2-0 last term. We get another chance against them this Saturday, in the biggest game of the season for both teams. I'll let you know how it goes.

The weather has slipped back into reality after a few weeks of unseasonably warm temperturess. So far this week has been much colder, and there's been rain on and off. It's still much warmer and nicer than a few weeks ago though, so I can hardly complain.

I'll be back in the next couple of days with an entry about my classes. I realize I mention them occasionly, but I've never really explained what classes I'm taking, and how the academic system works here. As soon as I need a break from essay writing, I'll post that up here. So check back soon...
